Secondary: Tank
Male, Human

Residence: Jeffery was originally from Demacia, but has been exiled and now travels the land freely with Aria, his friend (and hinted lover).

Friends: Aria
Rivals: Garen, Jarvan IV

Appearance: He is about 6-Foot 1 Inches tall, slim build, fair white skin, attractive but masculine face, aqua blue eyes, messy, average-length auburn brown hair, appears to be in his early to mid 20‘s.
Classic Skin:Wears a long, dark grey coat, (similar to Organization XIII Coat but unzipped, open and no hood) greenish-blue armored shirt underneath the coat, dark reddish-brown armored pants, and light brown strap-on boots. Wields a long, black Zwei-hander. (A German sword from the Renaissance)

Honor-Guard Jeffery: Wears a golden and white armor suit set with blue jewels or gemstones, making him appear somewhat similar to Garen's classic skin. Wields a pure white Zwei-hander sword. (This is an idea of what his appearance would be had he stayed in Demacia.)

Mercenary Jeffery: Wears a reddish-brown shirt, with a dark tan leather coat over-top it, dark brown pants, has tan-colored finger-less gloves on his hands and wears light-blue shoes. Wields a silver Zweihander.

Demon Hunter Jeffery: Wears a long, dark-blue coat, (Similar to Nero’s Coat in Devil May Cry 4) dark green undershirt, black pants, armor-plated gauntlets on his hands, plated boots on his feet. Wields a long, two-handed version of a Sabre, colored silver and blue.

Black-heart Jeffery: Wears black, evil looking medieval armor, but he has no helmet. (Think like the Daedric armor from Skyrim or something similar) His eyes are blood red, and there is a dark purple cape on the back of the armor. Wields a corrupt looking version of his normal black sword.

Mana Regen: 6.435 (+ 0.27)  Magic Resist: 30 (+2.1)
Range: Melee   Movement Speed: 340

Passive: Ebony Essence/Curse
Every basic attack on a champion leaves 1 stack of Ebony Essence for a maximum of 6 stacks. These remain on the target for 6 seconds, and more attacks refresh the duration and/or add more stacks of the passive. Getting all 6 stacks turns it into "Ebony Curse", causing the next ability cast within the next 6 seconds on champions afflicted with "Ebony Curse" to have bonus effects. After the ability has been cast, all stacks on the target are consumed and Jeffery must rebuild the stacks to "Ebony Curse" again to gain the bonus effects. After "Ebony Curse" has been consumed by the use of an ability, a residual de-buff called "Ebony Remains" is inflicted on the champion for the next 5 seconds, causing all basic attacks to leave 2 counts of Ebony Essence rather than just 1, giving Jeffery a sporting chance to rebuild "Ebony Curse". But, if he does not rebuild it within that span of time, it goes back to only inflicting 1 stack.

Q: Umbra Slash
Jeffery swings his Zweihander in a wide arc in the target direction, dealing damage to all units in a wide arc in front of him and at his immediate sides. This attack knocks aside all non-champion units struck by it.
Ebony Curse Bonus: Umbra Slash's range is extended and deals an extra 50% damage.

W: Ebony Rage
Passive: Jeffery is granted a 5% chance to leave two stacks of Ebony Essence at random on enemy champions he hits with basic attacks with each level of the skill. Using the active causes Jeffery to lose the passive portion of this ability for the duration of the cool-down.
Passive Chance: 5%/ 10%/ 15%/ 20%/ 25%
Active: Jeffery performs a dash in the direction of the cursor, slashing two times as he goes along, adding one stack of "Ebony Essence" for each slash to enemy champions hit along the way. Both slashes deal damage equal to half of a basic attack.

E: Calamity Surge
Jeffery stabs his sword into the ground and lets loose Ebony energy, sending forth a medium-range shockwave that deals damage and slows all units struck by it.
Ebony Curse Bonus: The slow is turned into a root, rooting the target for 1.25 seconds and the attack deals 30% more damage.
Slow: 15%/20%/25%/30%/35% for 3 seconds.

R: Adamant Strike
Jeffery leaps above his target and brings his Zweihander down with such force, it sunders his target’s armor and deals massive damage. Targets who survive the attack have their bonus armor reduced by 20% for 6 seconds, and have "Ebony Remains" inflicted on them.
Ebony Curse Bonus: Adamant Strike deals 200% damage to the target. (It is considered PHYSICAL damage, not true damage, so it can be reduced by armor.)

Lore: Jeffery is a free-spirited warrior who travels Valoran as he wishes with his friend and traveling companion, the sorceress Aria. He hailed from the kingdom of the Demacians, but has been exiled by them and is not considered to be a citizen of their nation.

Jeffery was born and raised in the traditional sense of Demacian upbringing, told to uphold justice and law and the many other virtues Demacia prides itself on. His parents were proud when he showed an interest in a military career, and sent him to a prestigious military academy in the Demacian Capital. While Jeffery had no shortage of friends in his academy days, there was a strangeness about him that caused some to ostracize him. He would often question a number of points in "The Measured Tread" when discussing it with his companions, wondering why small crimes that could be easily recompensed without trouble, had such intense sentences, that in some cases, seemed to go against the virtues their nation upheld with such pride. This, and his friendship with the sorceress known as Aria. Many rumors abound about her, some even claiming her to be an implant from Noxus, but Jeffery paid no attention to these rumors, and befriended Aria. This friendship would last throughout their youth into young adulthood and beyond.

When in the library of the academy, Jeffery discovered an old tome that documented an ancient order. It was an order of knights that existed very early on, in the Demacian nation's infancy. These knights, like the Demacian soldiers and warriors that followed them, upheld justice and law. But there was one aspect about them that was staunchly different from Demacia. These knights wielded weapons made of a black metal or metal-like material known as Ebony. This awoke a sense of curiosity in Jeffery, and he sought to find out what this material was, and if weapons were still made for Demacian military from it. When he asked his instructors on the matter, they answered very hesitantly that Ebony was a metal used very early in Demacian weaponry, but was quickly turned away as the virtues that their nation prided themselves on became prevalent, and Ebony was a dark metal that took away from this imagery. Jeffery did not give up, however, and during his free time, would search for other books or information on Ebony, slowly but surely gaining knowledge on the now-forbidden metal. Ebony seemed to produce an aura of darkness, which is no doubt why it was shunned, as it did not fit with the now ideal look of a Demacian. But these knights of the past did not shun it; they instead embraced it, teaching themselves how to make use of this aura to aid themselves in battle. Some grew in skill to where the aura could essentially "curse" their opponents and strengthen their attacks against them.

As he grew nearer to adulthood and his graduation, Jeffery, like all his fellows, was given the right to have a weapon of his choice forged and brought to his graduation ceremony to be presented to him as he entered the Demacian Military. Jeffery, having been trained and grown to like the use of a sword, knew that would be his best weapon, and decided within himself that he would have it made of Ebony, no matter the cost. After some time of searching, Jeffery found a cache of Ebony metal, deep within an old shrine said to have been used as a meeting-place by the knights he read about. He brought the metal to Aria's father, who was a blacksmith well-known in Demacia. After some hesitation, he agreed to forge the weapon, if only out of respect for Jeffery's friendship towards his daughter. Later, at Jeffery's presentation ceremony, the completed weapon was kept under its veil for an extended period of time, longer than most. In fact, it was kept until the weapon was presented to Jeffery at the end. With a smile, Jeffery unveiled his sword, expecting to hear cries of joy. Instead, he heard cries of "Heresy!" and "Traitor!" from all but his family and Aria's family. Any and all attempts to explain himself were shouted down, and Jeffery was arrested, with plans made to destroy his sword. In his cell, Jeffery questioned why this had happened, but then, clarity arose in him. The true ideals of his homeland had been deeply shrouded in indoctrination and other secrecy. He would work to expose and expunge this from his homeland with his black blade to prove himself. Talk at first among his inquisitors was to execute him, but the pleadings of his family and Aria caused them to change their mind to at least exile him instead. Before his expulsion, they offered Jeffery one final chance to rebuke his black blade and have another sword that was more fitting to their appeal forged. But Jeffery stood his ground, defending his choice, claiming it could be just a strong a paragon of justice as the knights in the ancient past were with their Ebony-forged weapons. Angered by this, the head inquisitor violently proclaimed him a heretic, and drew his weapon to slay Jeffery. Acting in self-defense, Jeffery drew his blade. Much to Jeffery, and the man's surprise, a black aura surrounded the blade, boosting Jeffery's strength as he fought back and landed blows, with the aura leaving visible black marks on his assailant. Finally, when Jeffery disarmed the man, the aura peaked, and Jeffery struck down his attacker. Without another word, Jeffery turned and left, standing tall despite the jeers and cries that followed him. Having left Demacia, Jeffery travels Valoran, offering his services as a dark paragon of Justice, based upon the ideals he knew to be true.

"Demacia has been blinded by it's own hunt for Justice. In their single-minded pursuit, it's people have forgotten the very ideal they seek to uphold."

Joke
Jeffery rests the bottom of his sword’s handle in the palm of his hand, like balancing a broomstick. It stays still for a moment, but he struggles with it and it falls over, with the flat bonking him on the head, and it falls on the ground. He picks it up while rubbing his head where it hit him.
Hup! Alright, steady, steady... whoops! Ow.
You know, Ebony is an all-purpose tool, except for... Ow! Cooking utensils.
Don’t ever use ebony-forged tools for cooking utensils. Ack! Essence tastes terrible!

Taunt
Jeffery points his sword forward, spins it around in his hand, and then stabs it into the ground near him. He then pulls it back out and assumes his normal position.
I fight for what I believe in, not only Justice.
You can admit it; The aura of my black blade frightens you.

You'll be black with Ebony envy once I'm done with you.

Taunting near an enemy Garen
You say you fight villains; try looking in a mirror once in awhile.
It's not how big the sword is, it's how you swing it, Garen.
I "Might" just beat you to a pulp.
You know of our homeland's corruptions, yet you do nothing to stop it.
If that isn't a failure to justice, I don't know what is.
(This line is meant to follow the one just above it.)

Taunting near an enemy Jarvan IV
Ready to take the puppet's strings when your father's gone?
I see your father's trained you well in the art of puppetry.

You make the people dance how you want. I'll be stopping that now.
A more corrupt and proud man than you, I've never seen.

Taunting near an enemy Demacian
I cannot quell your fury against me, so I must end it instead.
They've pulled the wool over your eyes good.
The traitors are the ones you follow, not I.

Taunting near an enemy Noxian
I'm no Demacian dog anymore, but I'm still not on your side either.
If you want to test my strength, then come.
I'll accept your challenges just as I would theirs.

Taunting near an enemy Aria
I wonder who’ll win, your magic or my sword skills.
I won’t hold back, Aria.
Don’t expect me to go easy on you.
Talk about a lover’s quarrel... (Rare)

(Heavy breathing, then silence)
I've done it. I'd been thinking about reworking my first two champion concepts for awhile, especially after the Juggernaut update and the upcoming Mage updates/rework later this year.

Since I always had Jeffery in mind to be a Juggernaut champion like Darius, Garen and the like, I figured it'd be best to rework him to fit more into that mold. The reason I changed the limit of his passive stacks is because, in reality, 10 stacks would take too long to build, so I reduced it to a more realistic goal of 6. Also, his Lore has been re-written to be more fitting with the new world/universe that Riot has been slowly crafting over the last little while as well. I removed the damage amounts and ratios because I decided that didn't really matter since he's just a fan concept and wouldn't very likely be put in the actual game. I'll leave the old profiles up here if people still want to see them, but I now consider these reworked profiles to be their official concept.

If the link doesn't work, tell me in the comments and I'll update it.

After some suggestions from friends and various players who have viewed this, I've altered some points of his passive.
